This publication, which locations itself among different "new imperial histories", argues that the truth of the location, is naturally, even more difficult and complicated. concentrating on post-war colonial Rhodesia, Gendering the Settler kingdom offers a fine-grained research of the role(s) of white girls within the colonial firm, arguing that they held ambiguous and inconsistent perspectives on various matters together with liberalism, gender, race and colonialism.
