those myths and stories have been accrued among 1890 and 1894 - a time whilst the Kathlamet dialect used to be spoken by means of merely 3 people, and initially released by means of the Smithsonian establishment in 1901. This publication includes the texts and their translations into English, through a grammar and dictionary of the language, which includes a comparability of the entire recognized dialects of the Chinookan inventory. The Kathlamet is that dialect of the higher Chinook which was once spoken farthest down the river. Its territory prolonged from Astoria at the south facet and Grey's Harbor at the north facet of the river to Rainier.
